Building on the award-winning Saturn design, Saturn 2 features nine selectable polar patterns to suit any recording style and/or sound source. Designed to be the workhorse of any professional studio; the Saturn 2 is suitable for recording virtually any sound source including vocals, instruments, room ambiance and everything in between. Designed to be the ultimate all-rounder condenser microphone, Saturn 2 features new and revamped circuitry with high-end components that deliver exceptional audio fidelity. The unique tonal character, analog warmth and sonic clarity are what sets the SATURN 2 apart from conventional condenser microphones.

Expanding on the original design, Saturn 2 features five selectable polar patterns complete with a digitally-controlled encoder that allows you to blend between patterns resulting in nine different patterns in total. The front panel features LED indicators for each of the five main patterns, allowing you to see which pattern you are using at a glance. The large encoder allows you to seamlessly switch and blend between the patterns using the intermediate positioning.

Two-stage filter and pad

In addition to the nine polar patterns, SATURN 2 also features an integrated two-stage filter and pad; giving you the ability to shape your sound before postproduction. The switchable filter features 75 and 125 Hz settings; allowing you to eliminate unwanted low-end sound when recording various sound sources. The pad is also switchable with -10dB and -20dB settings, allowing you to record hot signals without the fear of distortion. Known for its smooth top-end response, the SATURN 2 allows you to minimise any EQ'ing or editing when it comes to the mixing stage.

Vintage-style design with custom shockmount

Matching its classic tonality with its design; the SATURN 2's vintage design captures the essence of its sound. Reminiscent of iconic microphones from the golden era; SATURN 2 features a robust metal exterior with its unique ring design complete with custom shockmount and switchgear which eliminates structure-borne noise and optimises the acoustic performance of the microphone. The robust construction features a hard-anodised finish (military spec) to ensure a long lifespan; protecting the internal components.
