Major and minor keys are both built into the QuantiZer, giving you the ability to switch scales in a musical and playable way. This enhances the experience of musical progression and exploration. On top of this, the QuantiZer features 24 user scales ready to be filled up with your own custom scale creations. With a built in sketch pad, the QuantiZer can record and play back keys entered manually on the keyboard and slider in sync with external clock and reset signals. This can also be achieved with Tiptop's proprietary SyncBus technology, which chains the QuantiZer recording function to the Circadian Rhythms time line for precise recording and playback. Scale CV in can also be set to switch between changing scales, or transposing pitches, all using CV from sequencers. Quantization itself can be set for Free Run or Trigger mode, giving you access to an incredible array of interesting ways to interact with external sequencers.
New Performance Standard For Eurorack
The QuantiZer offers incredibly stable CV quantization, making sure glitches on input are minimized. It also utilises high-precision temperature-compensated 1V/Oct CV generation on the output, and features stunning conversion latency of less than half a millisecond. It can also be set to process a wide variety of CV voltage input ranges: +/-5V CV from LFOs, Bi-Polar Envelopes and such, or 0-10V / 0-5V standard CV from sequencers. On top of all of this, the QuantiZer is firmware upgradeable via a USB thumb drive interface at the back of the module, allowing for continuous improvement and fine tuning of the digital brains of the QuantiZer.
Proprietary SyncBus Technology
Equipped with Tiptop Audio's innovate SyncBus technology, you can connect your Quantizer to any number of other SyncBus devices with the highest possible level of synchronization. A SyncBus master directly injects its core clock and running status into every connected unit so they work seamlessly as one device. The connection is all done behind the panel, so you don't need to worry about patching anything together.
