Key Features
The Boz L8R is a stereo widening effect utilising short delays within the Haas zone. The effect of the L8R is to lock instruments in the stereo field, add widening to instruments, solve masking issues, correct timing inaccuracies in mono and stereo channels, and more.
L8R provides a sophisticated level of processing while maintaining a simple and intuitive user interface. The controls of L8R are as simple as possible, with a single dial to determine delay length up to three milliseconds, a push-pin control that switches operation to mono, and another that multiplies the delay value by 10 for up to a 30ms delay.
Haas delay is the key that makes the L8Rs sound so striking. Any very short delay that occurs within the Haas zone produces a reflection that combines with the direct sound in a constructive reinforcement of that sound. L8R captures this effect and makes it as easy as possible to achieve and manipulate, so you can improve stereo imaging and overcome masking, but also add depth and space to an entire mix.
