Full Description

The Telefunken M82 features a large 1.37" moving coil diaphragm which naturally responds smoothly to punch and dynamic bass-heavy sources, making it ideal for use with bass drums in addition to bass cabinets, organs and more. Providing a full depth at the bottom end, without loosing full range details, this mic is also great for lower register male vocals and voiceover work.

The M82 includes two switches; A Kick EQ switch that lets you notch frequencies around 350Hz out of the mic, removing boxy sounds which can make a kick drum sound fall flat. A High Boost switch allows for top end definition and brings a noticeable presence boost which adds clarity to vocals, air to bass and various other alterations depending on the subject you are miking, making the M82 a great addition to your microphone collection.
