Animal Factory Module Baron Samedi Distortion (12HP) Overview
The Animal Factory Module Baron Samedi features a range of controls to apply minimal distortion or completely mangle your audio signal, the choice is yours.
Built upon the success of Animal Factory's Baron Samedi Fuzz Pedal, modifications have been made to allow the unit to be used with modular level signals. Choose to utilise the module as a waveshaper or saturator or, if you're feeling brave, add CV and who knows where your sound will end up.
The parameters are aptly named for this very scenario, with the LIFE CV deepening or flattening the notch of the tone control. DEATH CV adds PWM-like textural manipulation, going from very quiet to very loud in the process, and the BURIAL CV acts as a gate of sorts.

Totally unique in it's modulation potential, the Baron Samedi is capable of ring modulation-like sounds when feeding audio-range signals into the DEATH and BURIAL CV inputs. For total sonic mayhem, run CV into all three inputs simultaneously and stand back. To control the module, a dry/wet blend knob can be used both as a performance tool and to fine tune the amount of textural distortion.
