The Squier FSR Affinity Series Stratocaster is a guitar built using only the finest tonewoods, the poplar body provides a clear, full-bodied tone that shines in the midrange and retains a great balance between the lows and highs. The maple neck will add a brightness to the mix that is crucial in achieving that classic Stratocaster sound, while the Indian laurel fretboard provides a supreme playing feel – as well as lasting a lifetime. The use of the darker laurel also complements the rest of the classic colours included in the design of this guitar, bringing a natural feel to the guitar. What’s more, the neck is designed with a satin urethane finish which will allow you to glide across the board with ease, so you can find the right note every time.

The 2-point bridge includes block saddles to provide a fantastic playing feel, ensuring comfortable action alongside precise intonation that can be easily altered to fit. This effect is compounded by the two-point synchronised tremolo bridge, which works with the die-cast tuning pegs to keep your guitar in tune for longer, so you don’t have to worry about retuning after every song.

Additional features included on this guitar are there not only for visual aesthetics, but also functionality and tonal enhancement. The three ceramic single coil Strat pickups deliver a glorious sound which is entirely tailorable and ranges from the classic, bright bite of the bridge pickup – a sound often associated with the Stratocaster – to the more rounded and gentle tones on the neck. The middle pickup combines the best of both worlds, and whichever pickup you engage can deliver a powerful output that will slice through the mix like a bullet through a balloon – without sacrificing an ounce of clarity.
