Solid Sitka Spruce Top & Tilia Body

With a solid sitka spruce top, the player receives a versatile platform for unleashing their true individual style. Its solid top yields a crisp and articulate tone with a broad dynamic range, accommodating numerous playing styles and genres with equal ease. Additionally, its stunning solid top also delivers a focused, clear sound of deep lows, warm mid-range, and bright singing highs. The Sigma's solid sitka spruce top is paired with tilia back and sides, which is a variant of basswood, delivering a well-balanced sonic-characteristic with excellent dynamics and definition.

000-14 Fret Cutaway Body

The Sigma OMTC-1STE+ features a 000-14 fret cutaway body, similar to the proportion of auditorium guitars, offering a versatile, all-purpose guitar with great projection and volume. In addition, its versatility enables players of different musical styles and backgrounds to unleash their true potential, accommodating anything from lighter folk-inspired fingerpicking styles to more aggressive strumming patterns and meaty chords. Furthermore, the 000 body provides a comfortable playing experience due to its sleek, curvaceous shape and nipped in waist, offering players comfort throughout both seated and standing performances. Additionally, the OMTC-1STE+'s venetian cutaway profile provides easy access to more challenging chords higher up the fingerboard, adding comfort and offering easy access to upper frets.

Fishman Isys+ Preamp

The Sigma OMTC-1STE+ comes equipped with a Fishman Isys+ preamp system for optional amplified performance, offering tone shaping controls for live and rehearsal settings. The preamp features rotary controls for volume, bass and treble, allowing the player to add a little extra sonic-character to the amplified sound. In addition, the preamp also features a phase button that reduces undesirable feedback when plugged in. As well as all this, the Fishman Isys+ also has a built-in tuner that provides precise and easy tuning whether performing acoustically or amplified.

Mahogany Neck & Micarta Fingerboard

Constructed from mahogany, the Sigma's neck delivers a resonant rich warmth that responds superbly to many different playing styles with equal ease. Additionally, the neck features a low profile for added comfort and a better grip in each position up and down the neck. Furthermore, the neck is topped with a micarta fingerboard which offers a smooth playing experience whilst adding sonically pleasing tones to the guitar's overall sound.

Bone Nut

The OMTC-1STE+ features a bone nut, which offers excellent resonance and sustain, along with an authentic appearance. A bone nut also delivers a very balanced tone, and will last a long time. In addition, this type of nut naturally self lubricates and helps you stay in tune for longer.
