Power Supply Tester

The device will light up when a working power supply is connected. You can also easily test a plug with it too. Simply plug the power supply into the wall, then connect it to the Hot Tip.

The female end accepts a standard 5.5mm outer diameter / 2.1mm inner diameter barrel tip - the common size used on most effects, pedals, synths, etc.

Power Passthrough

You can also power a device through it without removing the Hot Tip from the PSU tip end. You can then plug the tip end of the Hot Tip into your device. Its LED makes it handy for dark environments like on stage.

Polarity Indicator LED

The Hot Tip lights up blue for centre positive polarity, and red for centre negative polarity. This can be useful for when you need to check what polarity a PSU it.
