Product Ref: 97252
The Red Shot Triggers are designed for a natural response across the entire drumhead. Each trigger has a wide dynamic range to reproduce each hit with incredible precision.
The Acoustic Pro Triggers requires no adhesive, instead, they clamp easily onto the sides of standard drum hoops. This means that you can swap the triggers between each kit with ease.
The Red Shot Triggers transducer is softly pressed against the drumhead, which is protected from accidental hits by the durable metal casing. The light pressure of the transducer against the drumhead prevents any dampening effects and also prevents double triggering.
Included alongside the Red Shot Trigger Pack is 5, 15ft 1/4'' to 1/4'' DDrum cables, completing the package and ensuring you are able to complete your hybrid kit. The bundle also involves a hard case which can be used as compact storage or to ensure your triggers do not get damaged during transport.
DDrum's story began in Sweden - 1983. It was then, that Hans Nordelius (founder of NORD Keyboards) created the Digital Percussion Plate 1 – the first drum pad allowing for dynamic playing using sampled sounds. Crowned an instant success by the marketplace, Ddrum’s innovative drum pads, heads and hoops quickly garnered a large and loyal following.
2005 saw the beginnings of what would become Ddrum as we know it today when it was sold to Armadillo Enterprises. One of their first decisions was to greatly expand their product line to include acoustic kits, snares, deccabons, hardware and accessories, making them a full line drum company. Long considered an innovator in electronic drums, they built on that history by being the first to use 100 Ash shells for their acoustic kits. They led the way with deeper bass drums at a time when they were traditionally only available through custom drum makers. Their blended shells (maple inner and ash outer ply) were an industry first as was their use of Alder - a wood known for warm tone and punchy attack.
