The original ROLI Lightpad set a precedent in the portable music making world. This compact and highly expressive performance controller, provides exceptional expressive control that you could take anywhere. The Lightpad allows you to create music using the touch of your finger, recreating everything from drum sounds to flutes, synths, choirs and more. The expandable design allows you to connect the Lightpad M to a range of other ROLI blocks, allowing you to create your own customisable modular controller. The Lightpad M builds on the success of the original, providing a range of new features and enhancements to its design.

225 Microkeywaves & Redesigned Surface Layer

The ROLI Lightpad M builds on the success of its predecessor, with a range of improvements and upgrades. One of the most prominent changes made to the design is the microkeywaves. Inspired by the ROLI Seaboard, the microkeywaves deliver exceptional tactile control and feedback, from the pressure-sensitive surface. The redesigned silicone surface layer is deeper and softer, with 225 microkeywaves in total for optimal expressive control. The surface has also been made brighter for low-light environments, as well as looking sleek and stylish.

Palm-Sized, Lightweight Design

This highly compact and lightweight controller fits within the palm of your hand, making it the ultimate portable performance controller. Its expandable connections allow you to link the Lightpad M to other ROLI blocks for expansive control. The newest version of ROLI’s dedicated application – Noise 3.0 is also now available for free download. Noise 3.0 introduces a range of new upgrades, including improvements to clip launching, editing, as well as the user-interface. It also features a range of new acoustic sounds. You can now get hyper-realistic violin, saxophone, cello and other classical acoustic sounds.

ROLI Loop Block

Perfect For Studio Applications

The ROLI Loop Block is the ideal tool for adding looping and recording functionality to the ROLI Lightpad Block. The ROLI Loop Block provides you with a range of controls that make recording and playing back sounds and sequences easier than ever. It features 8 controls in total with a dual-button navigation control for toggling between parameters. The most unique parameter is the ‘Learn Mode’ button which provides you with a visual tutorial on how to interact with each different sound.

Versatile Control

The ROLI Loop Block features a range of versatile controls including: Mode. Volume, Click, Snap, Undo, Play, Record and Learn. This diverse range of controls allows you to do everything from set the tempo of your loops to quantizing your recorded loops to ensure they are snapped to the correct tempo. The click function even allows you to set the tempo of your loops manually like a metronome. If you ever make a mistake while recording your loops (even after playback) you can press the Undo button to go revert to the original configuration and start fresh.

Ideal For Live Performances

This expansive unit designed for the ROLI Lightpad Block brings a range of new tools and controls that are perfect for live performances. The lightweight and highly compact unit provides you with a range of buttons assigned to different functions allowing you to do everything from create chords and switch scales to create arpeggios, change volume and more. The ROLI Live Block can be attached to any side of the ROLI Lightpad Block with a DNA connector.

Versatile Control

The ROLI Live Block adds individual buttons for: Volume, Chord, Scale, Arp, Sustain, Octave and Bookmarks. These highly intuitive functions allow you to bring out the best from your live performances, giving you everything you need to create complex melodies and sequences. One of the most unique and convenient features is the ‘Bookmark’ tool which allows you to save your favourite sounds and recall them instantly.

Expansive Connectivity

The ROLI Live Block is simple to use, simply connect the block to one of the DNA connectors on your ROLI Lightpad and you’re ready to go. The robust buttons are only a finger-length away from the Lightpad’s playable surface, making navigating through parameters and sounds, a quick and easy process. You can also reconfigure the Blocks to cater to your requirements, even in the middle of a performance. Thanks to the built-in wireless connectivity if you disconnect the Block from the ROLI Lightpad, they can still work together wirelessly for added convenience.
