Now legendary, the Time Stretch feature lets you record first and pick your tempo later. Change the song tempo and all of your audio tracks will follow, no need to pre-processing. You can slow tempos to nail tricky passages and bring it back up when your done, keeping the amazing audio quality in tact.

Reason's studio-grade mixing console, already a mix engineer's dream, adds several new ways to make mixing your songs better and easier. Explore and tweak sound with all the mixing controls you need right there in the rack, so you can spend less time jumping about in the program and focus more on your music.

New features for Reason 7 include the addition of bus channels, making it easy to group tracks or mixer groups and process them together. Increase your control over mixes with the spectrum analyser window, giving you instant feedback on the selected channel or bus. With graphic EQ overlay, you can easily adjust the EQ on your tracks from anywhere in the program.

Add a bit of inspiration to your mixing session with the new Audiomatic Retro Transformer. Add Audiomatic to any channel or group and select a snapshot to instantly change the sound of your track, Audiomatic is a future-retro effect unit with plenty of personality.

Reason 7's expanded sound bank adds a new and powerful section of hard-hitting drums loops, ready to be thrown into tracks of any style from house and dubstep to metal. There's even more support for audio import formats with Reason 7, too, making it easier to grab loops and recordings from your music library or the web.
