The SubZero New Orleans Guitar is a fantastic vintage style guitar packed full of classic features and looks. From the classic block inlays on the fretboard, to the 'floating' wooden bridge and trapeze tailpiece, this guitars is true to the guitars of the 1950's that it was inspired by. To add a modern twist to this traditional style guitar, we have used a stunning Piebald Ash to make the top, and contrasted it with a dark Mahogany back, neck and sides, along with a textured binding, resulting in a stunning stand out look.
Versatile Sound
The New Orleans comes with two specially selected humbuckers, with both volume and tone controls for each, and a three way pickup selector, giving a broad selection of sound options. Traditionally used for Jazz, this guitar will give warm clean jazz tones, but is by no means only a Jazz guitar. Roll up the gain and you can get a full beefy Blues crunch. With its fully hollow construction, turn up the gain and boost your fuzz pedal, and you will have a brilliant shoegazing feedback. This versatile can actually fit into almost any genre that needs a big broad sound. The adjustable floating bridge will let you get the perfect action and intonation with ease, and the smooth fast Mahogany neck and Rosewood fretboard will give you a great, comfortable playing experience.
