The Godin A4 Ultra Bass Fretless benefits both acoustic and electric bassists, as its thin profile body accommodates both types of players. The A4 Fretless features a classic electric bass body shape and neck profile, whilst offering the tonal properties and resonance as an acoustic bass guitar. The A4 Ultra Bass features a fretless fingerboard, ideal for the more advanced players due to it being more difficult to play, but once achieved the tone is fluid, stunning and precise. With all these versatile features, this guitar is the perfect choice for acoustic players wanting to make the transition to an electric bass, or vice versa. This unique body shape consists of a two-chamber silver leaf maple body coupled with a solid spruce top, that offers a broad dynamic range, bright attack, and yields a superb resonance. The A4 Fretless Bass features a chambered silver leaf maple body, that not only provides a lightweight guitar but also eliminates undesirable feedback in live and loud applications, for a unique tone.

Low Profile Sensor

This versatile semi-acoustic bass features more sonic possibilities than ever with the addition of a Low Profile Lace Sensor electric pickup, and side mounted preamp. The preamp allows you to control your tone via sliders for acoustic volume, treble, mid, bass and an independent control for Synth volume.

Synth Access

This innovative A4 Ultra Fretless bass from Godin accommodates synth access, and features a 13-pin output for use with a computer. This versatile function allows you to have a variety of different sounds at the touch of a button, as well as an easy recording interface.
