EarthQuaker Devices Hoof V2 Fuzz Overview
The EarthQuaker Devices Hoof V2 Fuzz Pedal is the updated version of EarthQuaker Devices' flagship Hoof. This Germanium/Silicon Hybrid fuzz can be found on thousands of pedalboards around the world. Based on the classic green Russian muff-style fuzz circuit, the Hoof combines maximum tone with excellent temperature stability. Equipped with hand-matched NOS Germanium transistors, each Hoof pedal delivers a consistent smooth, natural, harmonically rich sustain with a huge gain range.
Capable of everything from dirty and organic amp-style overdrive to extreme monstrous fuzz madness, the Hoof can do it all. Combined with the "Shift" control, you have complete tonal access, as the Shift control works with the Tone control to alter the overall frequency response of the pedal. This all-analog, true-bypass, hand-built fuzz pedal is a truly flexible beast.

Controls
- Fuzz: Clockwise for heavy, counter-clockwise for subtle
- Tone: Bass to the left, Treble to the right
- Level: Controls the overall output level of the Hoof
- Shift: Works with the Tone control to alter the overall frequency response of the Hoof by adjusting the mid content. Clockwise results in classic scooped mids, while counter-clockwise delivers more modern, cutting mids

WARNING: EarthQuaker Devices' pedals take a standard 9 volt DC power supply with a 2.1mm negative center barrel. They always recommend pedal-specific, transformer-isolated wall-wart power supplies or multiple isolated-output supplies. Pedals will make extra noise if there is ripple or unclean power. Switching-type power supplies, daisy chains and non-pedal specific power supplies do not filter dirty power as well and let through unwanted noise. Do not run at higher voltages!
