Featuring a mahogany body with stunning flamed maple top, the ML 79 provides a traditional style and an iconic tone. As well as this, the set-in mahogany neck and mounted pau ferro fingerboard provide a smooth and fluid playability. Loaded with with a duo of DMT designed humbucking pickups, players can achieve a powerful and punchy tone, perfect for classic rock riffs. The Dean ML 79 also incorporates a Floyd Rose 1000 locking tremolo, 22 fret pau ferro fingerboard, a locking nut and much more.

Loaded with two DMT Designed humbucking pickups in the bridge and neck position, the ML 79 Floyd delivers a powerful and punchy tone with plenty of bottom end and sparkling highs. Perfect for a range of playing styles and music genres, the DMT Designed humbuckers excel when used for hard rock and screaming lead licks.

Floyd Rose 1000 Tremolo

For many years Floyd Rose has been the leading manufacturer and designer of floating, locking tremolos. With a design that has stood strong for over 30 years, the Floyd Rose 1000 locking tremolo allows you to adjust the string tension and pitch with the removable whammy bar to create unique sounds such as dive bombs. Unlike non-locking tremolo's, the Floyd Rose 1000 bridge can make huge changes in pitch but still retain the initial tuning by the addition of a locking nut at the end of the headstock.
