The Dean Exotica Supreme features a top, back, and sides crafted entirely from mahogany, offering a warm, rich, and resonant sound that is well-suited to a wide range of genres and playing styles. Its all-mahogany build produces a focused, punchy, meaty mid-range, and a rich dark warmth with the depth and complexity to please most playing styles. Crafted from mahogany, the Supreme's neck produces a rich warmth that responds greatly to numerous playing techniques, from fingerpicking styles to more aggressive techniques with equal ease. To provide comfort, the Exotica Supreme features a C shaped neck profile, which offers players a comfortable and secure grip, reducing the likeliness of a cramping hand. The neck is topped with a walnut fingerboard that adds a warm sizzling-sparkle to the overall sound, enhancing the tone, as well as offering a smooth and energetic playing experience. Its smooth Walnut fingerboard is sprinkled with stunning pearl inlays for added elegance.
The Exotica Supreme comes equipped with Dean's built-in preamp, enhanced by Aphex technology and Big Bottom Circuitry, this sophisticated preamp is makes the Supreme ready for the stage and studio environments. With slider switches for bass, mid, treble, and volume, players are able to tweak their sound to personal preference. For quick and easy tuning in between songs, the preamp features a built-in tuner, enabling players to stay in perfect tune throughout. In addition, the preamp features Aphex Aural Exciter technology, giving the Dean Exotica Supreme the ability to enhance to sonic quality and natural harmonics of the guitar by subtly boosting detail, clarity and presence to deliver studio quality tones within a live environment. The Big Bottom Circuitry boosts the low frequency power and punch by extending the low response to create a deep and full bodied tone.
