The Dean Demonator Bass Guitar, Black Satin is a signature guitar by death metal band Morbid Angel's David 'Evil D' Vincent. The Demonator 4 Bass was custom designed by Evil D himself, and it is loaded with a whole range of features that suit the heavy, aggressive style of the band. The sleek, curvaceous body and over-sized V headstock provide a dark, metal appearance, as well as increased string stability. Featuring a pair of DMT Design humbucking pickups in the bridge and neck position, the Demonator 4 Chaos Bass delivers a powerful and punchy tone with plenty of bottom end and highs. The DMT Design humbuckers are perfect for a range of playing styles and music genres, though they particularly excel when used for hard rock and metal.

Demonator Shaped Mahogany Body

The Dean Demonator Bass' unique body shape is guaranteed to make a strong statement on any stage, with its sleek, offset curves and double cutaway construction; the custom designed bass wouldn't look out of place on stage with Morbid Angels. The mahogany delivers impressive sustain and resonance, as well as a warm and overall balanced tone to rock any sound.

Smooth Mahogany Neck & Rosewood Fingerboard

The Dean Demonator 4 Bass has a large, V-shaped headstock, which provides increased string angles and string length which contributes to the overall sustain; as well as adding to the aesthetics. The mahogany, C shaped neck profile allows faster playing and offers comfortable, smooth play, The neck is coupled with a rosewood fingerboard for enhanced articulation and increased warmth, as well as a dark appearance.

About David 'Evil D' Vincent

David Vincent, who is also known as Evil D, is the bassist for death metal band Morbid Angel, and also for Genitorturers. Vincent has released 6 albums with Morbid Angel since 1989, as well as 3 with Genitorturers and 2 with grindcore band Terrorizer. David Vincent claimed his early influences for guitar were Kiss and Alice Copper, and he is now regarded as an extremely talented death metal front-man by many.
